About Our Club

Welcome to the Royal Kennebeccasis Yacht Club, located at the intersection of the Kennebecasis and St John Rivers in beautiful Brothers Cove, Saint John, New Brunswick.

Welcome from the Commodore

kimroundWelcome to the RKYC!

I am very proud to be the second female commodore in our 122  year history.  When I was introduced to boating in my early thirties, it left a tremendous impact on me.  And when I found the RKYC, it was like being welcomed home.  The people and the energy at the club were, and still are, something the members can be proud of and a reason for new members to join.

The RKYC has so much to offer, including an active marina, a full entertainment schedule and a thriving Learn to Sail program - for both adults and juniors.  Most of what the RKYC is and does  is due to the care and dedication of our member volunteers.

The RKYC is also a great place for visiting cruisers on their way to enjoy our beautiful river system - the St. John and Kennebecasis rivers and their many bays and connected lakes are something to behold.  Many have stopped, stayed and enjoyed their time at our facilities.

In conclusion, I am looking forward to an amazing 2017.  I am proud to serve, and proud to belong, to the RKYC!
